Current Classes

Fridays Happy Hour Yoga 5-6pm $12.00 cash/check/card
This is a dynamic vinyasa practice class. Expect a creative sequence to build strength and stamina. This class may include arm balances and inversions but will always conclude with a full savasana. Sometimes fast, sometimes slow--a well rounded class leaving you feeling balanced, strong and good!
This class is for those wanting a strong, physical practice.

Sundays Soulful Sunday Morning Yoga 9am-10:15am $15.00 cash/check/card 
We will start off with a few Yin Yoga poses and then move into a slow practice in order to linger in asanas (poses) for deeper exploration and opening. A well-rounded, "ease-full" class with a focus on breath, this class is open to all levels. Modifications given throughout the class.
Morning Monday Yoga 9:00-10:15am $15.00 NO CLASS DEC 11
This class provides a combination of healthy alignment and the freedom to play within familiar and new poses. From beginners to seasoned practitioners, this class hopes to broaden the range of capabilities of each person through the instruction of alignment and breath. This physical practice is offered with a theme for the day, maybe some yoga philosophy, and perhaps some humor. 
Mindful Monday Yoga 5:30pm-6:30pm $12.00 NO CLASS DEC 11
A practice that will energize and nourish you with a focus on opening and elongating, as well as strengthening. Sometimes fast, sometimes slow, sometimes hatha, sometimes vinyasa flow, expect a well-rounded class hitting major posture groups (standing, balancing, seated folds, etc). Appropriate for all levels. Modifications given throughout the class. Many opportunities to slow it down or rev it up, depending on your energy level.
YIN yoga Monday evenings 7-8:15pm $15.00 NO CLASS DEC 11
Yin Yoga involves holding poses (lying down or seated) for longer periods of time (often 3 to 5 minutes, sometimes more) in order to release deep tissue and increase blood flow. The slow moving, meditative pace leads to clarity of the mind and the extended holds result in increased joint mobility and range of motion. Settle into stillness and experience the sensations of subtle movement as you travel inward.
Wednesday Community Contribution Class, 6pm-7pm. 
*Location: Blackwater Falls State Park (Outside at Pendleton Point or inside at the Lodge).
Join our yoga sangha! This is a multi-level class seeking to challenge and reward each and every student. All abilities welcome! 
Sometimes fast, sometimes slow, students will focus on breath and alignment. 
Modifications are given to make sure each participant is moving at his/her own level.
Appropriate for ages 14 and up (guideline, but not a rule. Call with questions).

Wed 9/13 and Weekend Classes

Wednesday's Community Class--September 13th

I am hoping for nice weather and outside, but if it is raining, the rain location will be
 at Blackwater Falls State Park Lodge. This time we will meet in what is called the "Music" room. Enter the lodge and turn left...walk through some rooms...and we will find each other.

Sunday Sept 17th 9am-10:15am Yin/Yang
All levels $13.00 Space opens at 8:45am
We will start the class in yin poses (held poses on our backs or seated) and then move into more yang poses to build heat and create strength and openness. Suitable for almost all levels of students, Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine.

Sunday, September 3rd, 9am-10:15am Slow Flow $13.00 cash/check
Slowing down the flow can help you maintain control of your breath, build determination, and intensify your practice. Class will focus on smooth linking of unhurried breath with movement, mindfully holding postures for several breaths, awakening your body and clearing your mind. Explore the details of each posture at a comfortable pace to allow your body to deepen into a stretch or pause in a strength-building pose.  Expect deep hip, back and leg openings with longer holds to gain strength and increased mobility. Get into the rhythm of this truly invigorating class and find true balance in this moving meditation.  Good for all levels.
